Really hard to get balances right. Have to shower before using to keep water from becoming cloudy, sudsy from body oil, deodorant soap, etc., etc.

I'm satisfied with the hot tub except for the circulation pumps coming on so often when its not in use to keep the temperature from between 101 and 103. Seems like a big waste of energy to me.

We have owned our aventine tub for about 2 years now. And are still enjoying it about 3 days per week. In the summer we turn the temp down to 99 and it's the perfect temp after sundown. The only thing I would add is more jets but what spa owner doesn't say that:)

Have used my Aventine Tub for 1 Month Now

I ordered the tub in a coastal gray but it appears more like a tan color with light streaks of gray in it. The tub is great for 1 person especially. Although it says it has 2 seating arrangements, with the buoyancy, you can comfortably move in many positions to relax. That surprised me. The jets provide a lot of power but when on full strength, it gets quite sudsy and I have to turn it down. I don't know why that happens. The men who delivered it were more "pool people" and really couldn't explain how the control panel works. Although it's small, it's involved and I'm still confused as to how to operate it. I'm also a bit confused as to the number to put the bromine and minerals on but with it being a small tub, I'm told not to really be too worried about it. All in all, the tub is quite nice and attractive on my deck.

Thanks for the feedback about the Aventine spa. Suds in the water has to do with your source water and the chemicals you add to the water, not the spa itself. Your local dealer can chat with you about how to easily rid the water of those suds/foam, as well as the proper operation of the spa's control panel and how to adjust the Spa Frog levels. I will send a note to your dealer with a request that they contact you to provide water chemistry orientation and assistance in becoming familiar with the controls. Happy Hot Tubbing!

I purchased this hot tub to help deal with the pain of arthritis. It has help, pain has been greatly reduced. Only concern was the Frog system, had a hard time getting the bromine level stabilized, switched to chlorine.

When it's working right, I love the spa. It had a serious leak when installed (which the phone person said was impossible) and now the motor has stopped working. New one ordered. Check back in a month to see what I think of it

Bought this and it doesn’t have enough jets to reach all parts of our body but I’d hate more because the water cools from 104 to just 98 degrees in less than 20 mins with the jets on...bummer for us!!

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your spa. As it turns out, your spa has an optional electrical set up. If you run the spa at 230 volts, you can run the jets and heater at the same time. The spa water will cool when the cover is open. It just depends on the outside temp and how long the spa is open as to how much it will drop.
Thank you for bringing up a good topic. The whole reason for having a hot tub is to have hot water. Taking in to account these other factors, I feel that your spa will work better for you.

The Aventine Caldera Spa i purchased just over 3 years ago requires a new pump. If Caldera Spas can only be reliable for 3 years before having to buy a replacement pump then the product is inferior. The warranty is only for two years but with a key component like a pump it should be warrantied for at least 5 years. Won't buy Caldera when I replace the current Aventine model.

I know how frustrating a repair can be, and I am sorry to hear your jet pump needs to be replaced in your spa. We provide a 2 year component warranty with the Aventine model, and we do have other models that include a 5 year warranty. I am not sure why your pump has gone out now. Sometimes this can be caused by water chemistry. We are happy to speak with you and review your spa and water care just to be safe. I have my hot tub ( caldera Aventine ) for about 8 years .
I'm replacing the water pump for the 3rd time and I barely use it ( besides it runs 24/7 )
Should I get it replaced again ?
