Knows and jet diffusers fall off easy. Speaker system shorts out all the time. Chemicals are near impossible to balance. Very comfortable when it works.

We have had the tub for a little over a year and we are generally happy with it. We have random issues with the control unit (BT stops working then starts, lights cause other issues). The tub is pretty comfortable. If we were in the market again we probably wouldn't purchase this tub again.

First I will start with the positive. The salt water aspect of the spa has been awesome. Easy to maintain and stays clean. Now the bad.... We ordered a fully loaded spa which included a sound system. The quality of the sound system is bad. Additionally, the speakers have gone out twice now. Luckily the spa was under warranty and they have replaced them each time. I imagine they will continue to go out. Further, the plastic catch which is located by the filter (designed to block large items from entering) is attached/held by two poorly designed and cheap plastic holders. This results in the large plastic catch constantly coming off. We now have a 16k spa with a large opening because this piece won’t stay on. Caldera has offered no fix for this. At first they talked on the phone with me and said they were looking into it. Ultimately, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Bad customer service and some cheaply made and executed parts.

Disappointed with the construction of the hot tub. The side panels are held together with Velcro. They popped off and the dealer had to screw them in altering the appearance. One of the Jets fell off and I had to pop it back on. One of the handle knob fell off and I had to put that back on. Our exterior lights do not stay on as programmed. They are always needing to be reprogrammed. Disappointed in this product.

In all seriousness, this is a fairly well designed tub. The downside is the first one the shell cracked even with the cover always on it, the the side panel has warped twice under partial exposure to sun as my tub is half sunken in my deck. The jets are nice but the caps keep coming off easily. And the new replacement tub's speaker system is far from as good as the one I had originally bought, where the audio quality of that system was a large reason why I chose the tub over others. The company is taking a long time to address a new issue in having with the replacement tub. Panel buckling, micro speaker cracklings...

system shut down

i just recently purchsed the spa and in the middle of winter it shut down and i had a service call to basically deice the system at a cost of $350. it has shut off one other time in the middle of winter but i was able to restart the system. i previously owned a much cheaper spa from jacuzzi tubs and never had this issue. very disappointed son far with this spa. no expalnation on why it shut off but just some theories.

Delivery team was fantastic but that’s the end of the superlatives. The service team has been ok to poor. Typically arrives without calling. Text message questions sometimes go unanswered. Sales was very frustrating. Charged me for things that they claimed would be included. The tub itself is highly questionable. Parts keeping falling off, it arrived filthy, it’s stopped circulating for no reason, failed to heat, and the lounger seat took multiple service attempts to get working and apparently I have to make sure the jets are pointed in a particular direction or they will turn themselves off. Very frustrating. That’s only a few of the issues I’ve experienced.

We purchased this tub about three years ago and overall it has been just ok. Uses a ton of Chlorine but I guess that just a function of the size f the tub and the local water. Also, the side panels do not stay in place, they pop off at the bottom and it looks bad.
What I was most disappointed in was that all of the speakers but one have failed 2-3 years in. I thought I had a 5 year warranty only t find out that the speaker warranty is only one year. We spent nearly $20K on this tub and accessories only to have then fail. Very disappointing. I am hesitant to pay to repair thenm only to see them fail again and not be covered.

Mine cost over 18,000 , I have had it for only 6 months. I have yet to perfect the water chemistry, even with weekly trips to get the water tested from place I bought it from and following their instructions. I have a small fortune in chemicals for my salt water spa. The side panel was broke upon delivery and the outside lite don’t work because of that. They have yet to replace it. The salt cartridge says it last 4 months it’s about 100$ , I have burnt thru 4 in less than 6 months. The cover is already warped as well. I am a maticulous clean freak and I take care of my stuff. It’s not lack of care in my part.

We waited months to have our cantabria delivered only to have one issue after the next with it. Jet covers constantly falling off, filter cover never stays in place and floats away into the water, 1 waterfall only has half the power of the other side and now most recently, our control panel stopped working. We called to have their maintenance guy come out and he said we needed a software update, simple fix...we've owned it 7 months and it's already outdated software? Okay, we'll pay the $50 visit to have it updated. 2 days later and it's off again, another call to maintenance and we're waiting for them to come back. I have family coming this week looking forward to enjoying a soak and instead I'll have the maintenance guy here trying to fix it. Again, we've owned this less than 7 months. Nothing more frustrating than trying to enjoy your night in the jacuzzi and none of the lights or controls will work. Not a happy customer, for the money spent I'd expect better quality.

For the money, this hot tub has not impressed me. Two panels are already popping off, the jets will routinely fluctuate for no apparent reason, the individual area knobs come off very easy, and it's confusing why some of the seat jets will be on but others not at all. No follow up from Caldera that I am aware of to ensure satisfaction.

Cantabria tub installed 6/2/2023. Received delivery damaged and defective parts. It’s now NOVEMEMBER 9th 2023. 3:41 Arizona time. Sick and fed up. Parts not sent to repair hot tub . Been waiting FIVE MONTHS AND SEVEN DAYS numerous calls and no parts ever sent and ZERO INFO IF THEY WERE EVER ORDERED. How does this company advertise excellen customer service and do this to any customer. This is customer disservice 100% when no one helps the customer. This is not the first time with horrendous non existent customer service. You really have to push me to take the time to tell the ugly truth. Truth and nothing but the truth. It arrived damaged with multiple parts ordered and the main front cover of the spa needed total replacement after clips broke and screws pulled out of the wood supports. I made my last call to corporate 2am this morning and found a review card I waited 5 months hoping I didn’t have to write a 100% true horrible review at all costs. It’s not nice to have anyone waiting this long. It’s bad business that needs to be fixed at the highest level. Don’t advertise excellent customer service when it’s been zero on more than one occasion. I bought from this company because they raved about their customer service. . Calling it horrible is the nicest word I can write but it’s worse than horrible. Not one person helped the repair business by send the parts and no one gave an answer where the parts are at when caldera Watson was asked numerous times. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY. It was delivered day one damaged. The parts were immediately ordered for my brand new damaged tub installed June 2 2023. No help from anyone and no parts and no apology’s. It’s disgusting treatment with no excuse for the dead silence. Buyers beware. Great tub when it’s working absolutely one of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in the United States. When you pay $23,000 or when you pay $23 don’t brag about customer service when Zero ⭐️ is the customers reality

Bought my Cantabria spa 4 years ago. When it works, it's great.
Problem we have is the control panel works for abut 4 months then quits. It's been replaced 3 times already. Now waiting for another one. Hope it doesn't take 10 months like the last one.

We have had nothing but problems since we purchased our Caldera Cantebria about 2 1/2 years ago. We spent over $15,000 to have something for our us to enjoy as a family, but with issue after issue, it has been much more of a nuisance than enjoyment. And unfortunately, the dealer that we purchased ours from charges us to have someone come out and look at it even when it’s still under warranty. Then they always say there is nothing wrong with it and try to make it look like we did something wrong. Very, very disappointed in both the dealer and the hot tub! We referred a few friends there in the beginning, but we definitely will warn others to steer clear now and go with another brand and dealer.

I had such high expectations for this hot tub. We have had nothing but troubles. It’s been almost a year, and we have had service at our house probably 20 times trying to correct problems that exist with his hot tub. It’s a great hot tub. Very therapeutic, if it worked. When it works, it’s awesome. it would be absolutely incredible. However we’ve had the screen replaced, chlorinator controller replaced, two temperature sensors replaced, complete drain and refill, salt cartridges only last 30 days (although marketed for 4 months) and produced no chlorine (I have to add chlorine every three days even though it has a chlorinator), won’t hold temperature, doesn’t function below 20°, and no one can figure out what’s going wrong. We have had friends over and had to ask them to get out of the hot tub because of malfunctions, wouldn’t keep the temperature, screens failed, and hot tub turns on and off on its own without pressing any buttons. At this point in the game, you would think the manufacturer would get involved and work towards a solution. Unfortunately our experience has been anything but that. The warranty hasn’t been followed, the product doesn’t perform as marketed, and the service seems as though they have no idea what to do. This product has failed to deliver in good faith based upon its marketing, does not meet the expectations of delivery, nor function in a way that it is marketed. I wish this product worked because if it did, it would be incredible. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of empty promises unmet expectations. I have video and pictures to back up all my claims.

Where to start. Originally, I was very excited to make the purchase and have the Cantabria as an addition to our backyard remodel. It looked great, and at first was very enjoyable for my wife and I to use. Trouble however began within months, 1.) Side panel needed to be replaced as it began to crack around the screws that held it in place (several have done the same), then 2.) one of (3) speakers went out and the sub-woofer had to be adjusted as it sat against the inside panel and would vibrate loudly at even low volume levels, then 3.) just after 1 year (cover warranty period 1 year) the cover literally starts to break down so that any rain or surface water collects in the middle of the cover and under it causing it to be very heavy to lift (on third cover since purchase and about to need fourth (~$775 from Watkins), 4.) heater then goes out and recommended service company by dealer has to come out 3 times to finally figure out that the heater needs to be replaced (nice young guy come out but no experience and is literally reading the manual to replace and on the phone with Sr. tech trying to walk him through it), 5.) multiple jet covers and valve covers come off due to poor silicon sealant usage in construction (per service company), and finally 6.) leaking begins (different recommended service company by dealer owner) comes out and "fixes" leak. Over the weekend after repair, the leaking starts again. Contacted service company and they say they will have to charge again as they fixed what they thought was the problem, and will now have to try again. When I ask why they think I should pay them again for something they did not actually fix the first time, the dispatcher stated that they do the best they can, but leaks are hard to diagnose and can be anywhere in the plumbing, so it is challenge to sometimes fix after even several trips. That is why they have to charge for their time as well (not just a trip charge mind you), 6.) Service company does not come back and leaves job with several panels misaligned and screws missing to re-secure panels. It should be noted that I have religiously bought the chemicals/filters/test strips/spa and cover cleaners/etc. while owning this spa, as well as testing and refilling the water as recommended by the mfg. Not sure if this one is just a lemon, however the support to repair has been pretty atrocious over the several years I have owned this spa. I would not recommend this level of investment to a homeowner looking to enjoy vs. having to always repair.

We do love our hot tub when it is working. We developed a leak around 11/01/2019. The dealer we purchased the tub from is no longer in business so I contacted Caldera for a warranty repair and they put me in contact with Watson’s of Louisville. On 12/13/2019 they sent a repairman out to assess the repair, as the repairman was leaving he stated “ I know what I need I just have to order the parts and set up a return to repair it. It was a slow leak that I was able to control so Watson’s and I schedule the first attempt in January 2020. it was extremely cold so we moved it to February once again the weather was not good for an outdoor repair so we rescheduled for March. In March, I was contacted by Watson’s informing me due to COVID 19 they had to shut down until further notice ( 2 days before the repair was to take place ). I contacted Watson’s the week of May 5th to see what their capabilities were and we set a repair appointment of 05/15/2020. Watson’s called the morning of 5/15/20 and informed me they may need to order more parts. They came lifted the tub and of course needed to order more parts. I followed up with Watson’s on 05/20/20 and was informed “ hey buddy we will not make it back until 06/09/20. I attempted to explain that I have been patiently waiting since 11/11/2019, but they didn’t care “sorry buddy other people are waiting also”. At this point, I will never recommend anyone to purchase a Caldera spa. My father in law has extreme arthritis and the only way he can function is by using the hot tub everyday. Sorry buddy you will have wait!

I bought a Caldera I live in Oregon Im forced to use one dealer for warranty repairs that is the worst in every way possible.
